Meet the Team

Since we opened in 2017, our Rehab United Seattle family has grown from a team of two to a team of four staff members! Our "cRUw" is key to our success as an organization and we truly take pride in the family we've built over the years.

Biography:

Kai was born and raised in Richmond, VA where he spent most of his life waiting for the day he could leave. He enjoyed playing sports as a kid, but his true passion was drawing and reading (for several years he wanted to be a graphic novel illustrator). However, his passions shifted when he was introduced to climbing which quickly became his entire life.

Despite being in the midst of a global lockdown, Kai took advantage of finally getting the chance to explore somewhere new when he was accepted into the University of Washington and moved to Seattle in 2020. Since then, his curiosity for seeing new places has grown exponentially and he hopes to be able to travel all around the world one day, especially to his family’s home country of Vietnam.

As someone who is interested in going into the medical field in the future and a climber who has seen one too many bad injuries, Kai was ready to step out of the climbing gym and into a healthcare facility.

This is how he discovered Rehab United. Despite never having worked in this kind of environment before, he is excited to be a part of a family that strives to help people not only get back to their lives but to improve them.
