Meet the Team

Since we opened in 2017, our Rehab United Seattle family has grown from a team of two to a team of four staff members! Our "cRUw" is key to our success as an organization and we truly take pride in the family we've built over the years.

Biography: Tanner grew up in the small, mountain town of Leavenworth, WA playing sports, skateboarding, and hanging out with his friends and two older brothers. He knew he wanted to be a PT when he got injured playing football and had a great rehab experience at the local physical therapy clinic. He then attended Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA where he earned his B.S. in Kinesiology: Pre-PT and a Minor in Sport Psychology.

After living in WA his whole life, Tanner was ready to experience somewhere totally different, so he moved to Austin, TX for PT school. He spent 3 years there meeting new people, enjoying the delicious food (mainly BBQ), warmer weather, live music, and earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. His last clinical rotation took him to Phoenix, AZ where he gained great experience from Spooner Physical Therapy (which has a very similar treatment philosophy to Rehab United Physical Therapy).

Following the pandemic, lockdown, and being away from home, Tanner decided that it was time to return to Washington.  He missed being near friends, family and the beautiful water, mountains, and trees.  He accepted his first PT job at a general outpatient clinic in the small town of Yelm, WA.  He gained valuable experience treating people of all ages and furthering his skills by taking courses in the Mulligan Concept of Manual Therapy. Though he loved his patients and his co-workers, after two years he was once again ready for a bigger challenge and a new adventure.

Tanner happily accepted a position at Rehab United Seattle because its company values aligned with his own.  He also felt that the more active population would be a great way to challenge and expand his skills.  Tanner loves hanging out with his friends, exploring Seattle, eating delicious food, trying new recipes, golfing, hiking, and visiting friends and family in Leavenworth.
